KPI cards: the big numbers on top

Pull the totals from a helper PivotTable with GETPIVOTDATA, then show them in text boxes linked to cells.

Step by step8 minLesson 30 of 37 Members

Before looking at any chart, a reader wants to know two things: how much was spent in total, and is it still under budget? Those answers go on four KPI cards along the top. The technique is the one used in Dashboard Expense - CONTOH JADI.xlsx: the numbers are calculated in helper cells from column BA onwards (outside the dashboard area), and each card’s text box simply points to one of those cells.
