CALCULATE with two filters: completed COD orders

Cash on delivery (COD) orders are prone to cancellation. Nadia wants to know the value of COD sales that were actually completed per category and year, to decide whether to keep COD open for every category.

Task

Create the measure Penjualan COD Selesai (completed COD sales) in the Orders table: the [Total Sales] measure with two filters at once in CALCULATE: Orders[PaymentMethod] = "COD" and Orders[Status] = "Selesai" (completed).
Visual: category (Product[Category]) × year (Calendar[Year]).

Hint 1
CALCULATE accepts more than one filter argument, separated by commas.
Hint 2
Several filters in CALCULATE are combined with AND logic: a row must satisfy all of them.
Hint 3
CALCULATE ( [Total Sales], Orders[PaymentMethod] = "COD", ___ )

Reveal them one at a time. The last hint nearly gives the answer away.

Give it a try first. The solution unlocks automatically after your first check.

Answer

Penjualan COD Selesai

Penjualan COD Selesai = CALCULATE ( [Total Sales], Orders[PaymentMethod] = "COD", Orders[Status] = "Selesai" )

Explanation

Both column filters apply together (AND), and the category and year filters from the visual still apply because they are on other columns. Example, Fashion 2025: all COD orders are worth Rp4,354,000, but the completed ones only Rp3,697,000.

For OR logic on the same column, use IN, for example Orders[PaymentMethod] IN { "COD", "Transfer Bank" }.
Writing Orders[PaymentMethod] = "COD" && Orders[Status] = "Selesai" as one argument is also valid, because both columns come from the same table.
A common mistake is forgetting the Status filter, so cancelled COD orders get counted as sales.
