JOIN: combine duty names into one cell

The class captain of grade 12 at a high school in Cimahi shares the cleaning duty schedule in the class WhatsApp group. She wants each day's names combined in one cell so she can just copy them into a message.

Task

In F2:F4, combine each day's duty names into one text separated by a comma and a space, for example Adit, Bunga, Cakra, Dewi. Use JOIN. Monday's team is in A2:A5, Tuesday's in B2:B5, and Wednesday's in C2:C5.

Explanation

=JOIN(", ",A2:A5) returns "Adit, Bunga, Cakra, Dewi". JOIN is specific to Google Sheets and only accepts a range that is one row or one column. If the range has empty cells, JOIN still adds the delimiter, so you get ", ,"; to skip empty cells, use TEXTJOIN(", ",TRUE,A2:A5). The opposite of JOIN is SPLIT.
