Formatting & conditional formatting

  1. Step 1: In the Format tab, set fonts and data labels, and turn off chart clutter (gridlines).

  2. Step 2: Apply Conditional formatting so values colour by rule (for example red when below target).

    Watch out: One accent colour beats a rainbow. Reserve red for genuine problems.
