The Power Query editor
Where every cleaning step is recorded and repeatable.

Step 1: Open Power Query via Home → Transform data.

Step 2: On the right, find Applied Steps — every action you take is recorded here.
Tip: Steps are re-run automatically on every refresh. Give them clear names (right-click → Rename) so future-you understands the logic.

Step 3: The Queries pane on the left lists each table; the ribbon holds all the transform tools.
