LEN: check that each NIK has 16 digits

An officer at a community health center (puskesmas) in Garut is checking patient data before BPJS claims are submitted. A valid NIK (national ID number) always has 16 digits, but manual entry sometimes drops or adds digits.

Task

Fill C2:C7 with TRUE if the NIK in column B is exactly 16 characters long, otherwise FALSE. Use LEN.

Explanation

=LEN(B2)=16 compares the length of the NIK with 16. NIKs are stored as text because Excel only keeps 15 significant digits for numbers; a NIK typed as a number would have its last digit turned into 0. If a NIK has a hidden space at the end, LEN counts it too, so for messy data use =LEN(TRIM(B2))=16.
