SWITCH: uniform price by size

An elementary school cooperative in Depok sells the school's batik uniform. The price depends on size: S Rp85,000, M Rp90,000, L Rp95,000, XL Rp105,000, and any other size (custom tailored) Rp125,000.

Task

Fill D2:D7 with the amount due: the unit price for the size (column B) times the quantity (column C). Work out the unit price with SWITCH.

Hint 1
SWITCH(value, match1, result1, match2, result2, …, default) matches one value against a list of options.
Hint 2
A final argument without a partner is the default. It is used for sizes outside the list, such as XXL.
Hint 3
Pattern: =SWITCH(B2,"S",85000,"M",90000, …, 125000), then multiply the result by the quantity in C2.

Explanation

SWITCH fits when you test the same single value over and over (here the size in B2), so you do not have to repeat B2= as in a nested IF. The result is a number, so it can be multiplied by C2 directly. If you drop the default, Davin, who ordered XXL, gets #N/A. Note: SWITCH only matches exact values; for ranges like "over 5 kg", use IFS.
