CHOOSE: discount by membership level

Bagas's coffee shop in Semarang has a membership program with three levels: level 1 gets a 0% discount, level 2 gets 5% and level 3 gets 10%. In the sales data, the member level is stored as the number 1, 2 or 3.

Task

Fill D2:D7 with the discount percentage for the member level in column B (1 = 0%, 2 = 5%, 3 = 10%). Write the three percentages directly inside a CHOOSE formula. Column E (to pay) already has a formula.

Explanation

=CHOOSE(B2,0%,5%,10%) picks the 1st, 2nd or 3rd value from the list according to the level number. CHOOSE suits a few options that rarely change; if the list is long or changes often, keep it in a table and use XLOOKUP or INDEX. If the index is 0 or larger than the number of options, the result is #VALUE!.
